Social Dinner Featuring Guest Speaker David Stone

Members and friends are invited to the Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club from 6:00pm on Tuesday 15 April when we will have David Stone as our guest speaker.

David is a long-time competitor and has owned some interesting race cars. He has competed in over 600 races across almost every category, leaving two in an ambulance. Amongst these are six appearances in the Bathurst 12-hours, historic racing in the United States and a stint in motocross racing in his teens.

He often does commentating duties at our event (most recently at One Raceway) and will be interviewed by fellow HSRCA commentator John Young.

David has also had a long career in the Automotive industries, most recently in a senior position at Volkswagen Australia, and has established a bespoke race driver coaching business alongside a cottage industry classic/race car restoration business. 12 months ago he attained MSF Instructor Certification in the USA, which is the highest race driver instructor certification in the world.

We have other member presentations planned, as it is always great to hear the life stories of those with whom we share the track, and membership of the HSRCA. The June Social event is scheduled for Tuesday 17 June.
