This week, we catch up with Wayne Seabrook to learn a little about his history in motorsport and the 1976 Porsche 911 that he’ll be running in the Summer Festival this weekend.
Entry is now open for the HSRCA’s 2018 Tasman Festival at Sydney Motorsport Park, to be held over the 1st and 2nd of December, with private practice offered on the 30th of November. You are most cordially invited!
We’ll be featuring Q & R Sports Racing, Formula 5000, the Group S Endurance race, the Dawson-Damer Trophy and PRB’s 40th Anniversary. All historic classes are most welcome!

Private practice will be available on Friday the 30th of November and will be run by the ARDC.
Private practice starts at 9AM. The cost is $190, but a discounted rate of $160 is available for HSRCA and ARDC members. Just turn up and pay on the day.
For Friday practice, licence requirements for race days apply. Insurances may be compromised by any variation. If you have a concern, please contact Richard Cardew at [email protected].
Note for Group N Competitors
The Historic Touring Car Association of NSW has requested that we pass on the following information:
Spectator tickets will be available at the gate on the weekend. Kids 12 and under get in free. Adult tickets are $25 for Saturday, $35 for Sunday and $50 for a weekend pass. Concession tickets are $20 on Saturday, $25 on Sunday and $40 for a weekend pass.
Our last historic race meeting of 2019, the Summer Festival at Sydney Motorsport Park will be held over the 30th of November and 1st of December, 2019. Entry to the event will open in the second half of 2019 – stay tuned to this space for more information!
Along with all of our usual historic sports, race and touring cars, the event will feature 60 Years of Elfin, the BMC Challenge, the Group S Enduro race and the Dawson-Damer Trophy as well as 100 years of Bentley and 60 years of Mini.
