Social Dinner With Bruce Richardson on the Combustion Engine

We had expected to be hosting a younger race car pilot well known to many members, but he has become unavailable. Former President of the HSRCA Bruce Richardson has offered to make a presentation on the history of the internal combustion engine, in its many variants and forms, including aircraft and other high performance applications.
Dave Williamson will as always be assisting with the photo presentation and will also provide a visual show of his recent visit – with other members- to the Black Rock Circuit near Lake Macquarie, after we received a presentation on that proposal at our last social dinner on 18 June from Peter Opie, one of the owners.
As usual for this year, we will be meeting at the Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club at Ryedale Rd, West Ryde from 5:30pm for drinks, continuing with the presentation from 6:00pm and followed by dinner in a reserved area of the bistro.
