The HSRCA

The Historic Sports and Racing Car Association of New South Wales is a community built around good friends brought together by a shared interest in historic sports, racing and touring cars and a love for the golden age of motorsport.

At its core, the HSRCA is a social club and we are very proud of the camaraderie and friendship that sits at the core of everything we do. Our events, both social and competitive, are welcoming and relaxed and boast a wonderful atmosphere that ties in to the community experience and helps to recreate the atmosphere, buzz and excitement of the golden age of motorsport.

Each year we organise and run several historic race meetings at New South Wales circuits, including Sydney Motorsport Park and Wakefield Park. These meetings provide race, regularity and super sprint events for race, sports and touring cars from the ’20s through to the ’90s.

We also hold regular club meetings, social events, club plate runs and driver training events. Head over to our calendar to see what’s coming up.

Members receive ‘The Oily Rag’, our quarterly magazine which is regarded as one of the finest in the country. The Oily Rag is currently only available through membership of the HSRCA, the Victorian Historic Racing Register (VHRR) and the Historic Racing Car Club of Queensland (HRCC).

Have a browse around the website and come along to an event or two to get a feel for things. We’re looking forward to meeting you and hope you’ll join in the fun!
