Our Club Plate & Members runs are going from strength to strength, with the latest run on the 26th of October, 2014, seeing a terrific turnout enjoying top company, a brilliant morning drive and a lovely meal together.
Rick Marks has kindly shared a gallery of shots from the morning, and you can catch ’em all over in the ‘Gallery‘ page or directly at the link below:
October 2014 Club Plate and Members Run: Rick Marks & Ingo Weinberger
For this run the crew of 37 members and 21 cars met at McDonalds Dural before winding through Kenthurst and Pitt Town to McGraths Hill for a break. Once refuelled and recollected we cruised back to Windsor, up to Wilberforce and then along the mountain ridge to Kurrajong before joining Bells Line of Road at Kurmond and heading to lunch ad Kravings of Kurmond.
After lunch those who wished to continue the adventure headed to Kurrajong Heights for tea in the good company of Patrick and Caroline Quinn.
For the full report, be sure to pick up the next copy of our ‘Oily Rag’!
Thanks to all involved and especially to Barry Thew and Garry Simkin for planning the route and Kravings for a scrumptious meal. The feedback from the run has been excellent, and we can’t wait to get stuck in again in 2015.
Our first run next year is currently planned for March – stay tuned for more information!
