One of the things I really enjoy about driving historic and classic cars is the manner in which people react to them when they see you pottering, rumbling, and sometimes spluttering down the road. Classic cars capture kids’ sense of imagination and wonder, and rekindle the spark in a grown up’s eye. They make people smile.
NBN News recently brought the joys of historic sports and racing cars to its considerable audience, putting together this interview with Tony Caldersmith, who has recently finished rebuilding his 1928 French Amilcar. Tony is the recipient of an Order of Australia, awarded for his thirty years of service to the historic motor industry. Well done and thank you, Tony, and congratulations on a beautiful machine!
