Family Day at Wakefield Park August the 25th, 2013

Wakefield Park Family Day

We are continuing our one-day family and beginner friendly meetings this August the 25th and heading out to Wakefield Park, a spectacular learning circuit, for a day of racing for those wanting to come and try racing and sports racing cars.

The day is open to production cars both historic and modern. Beginners, experienced people and anyone in-between are all welcome and instructors will be available for those looking to learn.

We will run sessions for people new to circuit driving or new to the car they are driving as well as experienced people. Untimed events will be provided for experienced drivers and those who are new and display appropriate levels of competency and self-discipline. Four or five sessions on the track for each driver are intended. Entries are due by the 20th of August.

Update: We have available several Formula Vees for people to try. You will need to have had some circuit experience and be subject to acceptance by the owner. If you are interested please contact Steve Batty by email at or phone 0412 958 527.

We’re also in need some more volunteers to help on the day, including day, grid and flag marshals.
