Tim Schenken Guest Speaking at December 3rd Social Night

Tim Schenken Brands Hatch

The HSRCA is delighted to have vastly experienced driver, race car builder and CAMS administrator Tim Schenken along to entertain us on December 3rd.

His racing career was varied encompassing such milestones as being Australian Hillclimb champion in 1965, being a Grovewood Award winner, driving for Ferrari in sports cars, Lotus, Surtees, de Tomaso plus stints with HSRCA Patron Ron Tauranac in both Brabham and Trojans and much more.

A partnership with Howden Ganley saw them produce the TIGA range of sports and open wheelers before returning to Australia in 1984 to take up a role with CAMS as motor racing manager overseeing V8 races, F1 GPs and many other major events.

As usual, the venue is the Denistone Sports Club, 59 Chatham Road, West Ryde with the entertainment starting at 8pm. But why not arrive earlier and have a bite and a drink with fellow club members?
