In just a few sleeps we’ll be packing up our family and friends, a magnificent collection of historic sports and racing cars and all of the paraphernalia that comes with them and heading to Wakefield Park for our first historic racing weekend of 2016. Come along, check out the racing and cars and say ‘Hi!’
We’ll be putting on a packed schedule of historic racing, socialising and fun as we get our engines, tyres and brakes warmed up after the holiday break. There’s no specific theme for this weekend’s racing other than to get out on the track and enjoy our cars amongst some good company.
A huge ‘THANK YOU!’ to all competitors supporting the event! We will endeavour to make it a glorious return to racing in 2016 and look forward to sharing it with you.
To check out the programme, entry list and more, head to the ‘Events’ & Entry Forms page here.
To help crank the engines over before we head off, let’s take a look back at what went down the last time we put rubber to race track at Wakefield Park.
Our previous Wakefield Park historics were held in September back in 2016, when we celebrated some of the older cars in our ranks with feature events for J, K, L and invited M cars. We also enjoyed the diverse and wonderful machines of Regularity and the similarly-diverse and wonderful women and men who drive them, with Regularity and combined J, K, L and Regularity feature events.
Catch up on all the historic racing action in the wrap-up, photo galleries and links below. We can’t wait to do it all again this weekend!
