We’re Going to CARnivale this Australia Day!

The HSRCA will display several historic cars at the annual CARnivale Australia Day celebrations at Parramatta Park this Friday, the 26th of January, 2018.

We will be located by the rose garden and you can find out more details about the event itself, and all of the other Australia Day celebrations held in Parramatta on the day, at the official website here. CARnivale itself opens at 10AM, but there’s a hot air balloon display going from 6AM to 9AM and you’ll also be able to enjoy music, a barbecue battle, kids’ entertainment, fireworks at the end of the day and much more.

Porsche, Brabham, Elfin, MG and Sunbeam will all be represented in our display along with, all going to plan, a lovely Elva. The Gosford Classic Car Museum is lending the Yellow Submarine (Brabham) to the display and Ron Goodman will bring several Porsches including a spectacular 906. There will also be a display of vintage motor cycles near our location.

It’s a great opportunity to catch up after the summer break in a relaxed social environment, as well as to promote our wonderful sport in the wider community. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone, and hope you join us!

Thanks to Daniel Bando, Ron Goodman, Garry Hancock, Ken Grindrod, Geoff Varey, Stephen Perry, Peter Rose, Lehel Steindl, André Breit, Rick Marks, Perry Long, Bruce Smith and Patrick Quinn, and everyone else who are contributing, or plan to contribute, to the day.
