The HSRCA Sydney Classic will host the first round of Historic Formula Ford Australia’s multi-state Driver to Europe Series. Bringing back a concept from the championship’s history for its 50th anniversary, Historic Formula Ford Australia is running a four-round series in 2019 and will award class winners two airfares from Australia to the UK.

MG Racing Australia will join Formula Ford as a feature category at the HSRCA Sydney Classic. The MG Racing series has been running for some three decades and attracts the full gamut of racing MGs as well as compatible classic British sports cars. We’re looking forward to hosting a round of this exciting series.

With classic British sports cars able to run in MG Racing by invitation, some Group S entrants may wish to double enter and run with MG Racing as well as Group S. You are most welcome to do so! Please double enter the car in the MG class. Double-entering is subject to spaces available and final approval by MG Racing.

The HSRCA Sydney Classic will offer races for all of our usual fifth category vehicles as well as speed events for vehicles manufactured up to the 1990s and invited cars deemed compatible with those groups. Both Formula Ford and MG Racing will run trophy races on Sunday morning.

As always, thank you for your continued support of the HSRCA and historic motorsport in Australia. If you have any questions about the meeting or have any feedback, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

See you at the HSRCA Sydney Classic this June 8-9!
