The HSRCA will hold a social lunch with Bill Buckle on Wednesday the 6th of November at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club. Come along to hear some of Bill’s story and enjoy a social lunch with the club.
The final HSRCA social event of 2019 will feature the doyen of the motor industry – Bill Buckle.
Bob Williamson will be interviewing Bill on the day, so we may learn the secrets behind the success of the Buckle cars.
Bill is well known for the Buckle Coupes and amazing Goggomobile variants. Like Bob Britton, Dave Mawer and the late Peter Molloy, Bill is a recipient of the Phil Irving Award. He has much to share about his competition career in both cars and boats, not to mention his time in the manufacture and sale of motor vehicles.
To be held at our regular lunchtime venue, The Willandra Room at the Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club (117 Ryedale Road, West Ryde, just a few minutes stroll from the West Ryde train station). The event will start at 11:30am, but arrive early to grab a seat. A variety of lunch options are available at the venue, so you can meet up with your friends for a bite.
