Our first social evening of 2020 is coming up on Tuesday the 4th of February, and will feature Ashton Roskill sharing tales of adventure from his extraordinary run with Giles Cooper in the 2019 Peking to Paris Rally.
Ashton has been the president of Club Lotus Australia for some years, and has an impressive motor sport history under his belt, including plenty of experience competing at HSRCA events in his Lotus Eleven and Lotus Elite. In 2019 he teamed up with co-driver Giles Cooper to tackle the mad Peking to Paris rally in ‘Gidget’, an Austin Healey 100/4, completing the event in style and to great success.
Ashton has kindly offered to speak at our February social evening, and will be bringing ‘Gidget’ along as well. The talk will be held at Denistone Bowling Club (59 Chatham St West Ryde) on Tuesday the 4th of February. Formalities will kick off from 7:30pm, but why not join us from 6:00pm to catch up and enjoy a meal. Guests and friends are most welcome.
