2020 Spring Festival Postponed to Weekend of October 30th to November 1st

In light of changes to advice from NSW Health effective 19 August, the 2020 HSRCA Spring Festival at Wakefield Park has been postponed to the weekend of October 30th to November 1st.

The postponement of the 2020 Spring Festival follows several days of enquiry and consultation with relevant organisations. Among them, Motorsport Australia and Wakefield Park Raceway have been particularly understanding of our circumstances. Motorsport Australia made enquiries specifically on our behalf and Wakefield Park Raceway have worked supportively with us throughout.

Wakefield Park Raceway will still operate a practice day on Friday 28 August if there is sufficient interest. Details are available on their website at this link, or you can email the circuit at info@wakefieldpark.com.au to express your interest.

Looking forward to the weekend of the 30th October to the 1st November, it should be possible for us to arrange for current entries to be held over to the new date. This will save you from going through the entry process again. If that doesn’t suit, please withdraw through the entry system at Motorsport Australia’s Member Portal, or notify us and we will organise a refund for you.

Planning for the Summer Festival, which will be held just four weeks later over the 27th to 29th of November, is well under way. We hope you’re ready for an action-packed conclusion to the 2020 historic motor racing season!

We appreciate your patience as we have worked through this process, and your understanding regarding the postponement of the meeting. Your race committee will continue to work hard and we look forward to safe, successful and enjoyable Spring and Summer Festivals.

Yours in motor sport,
The HSRCA Race Committee
