Join us at Sydney Motorsport Park on Tuesday the 2nd of March, 2021, to welcome Spencer Martin, HSRCA Patron, to his new role in the club and celebrate the launch of his book ‘Historic Ferrari and Grand Prix Cars – My Life by Spencer Martin’. This will be a great opportunity catch up as a club while also meeting Spencer and enjoying some stories from his motor sport career.
Imagine this: progressing from humpy Holden non stop to a Tasman Formula Brabham and Ferrari 250 LM….and winning. Spencer Martin, twice Australian Driver’s Champion, has compiled the astonishing story of his life on the race track and the extraordinarily diverse range of cars he raced.
This is a perfect opportunity to hear from the man himself about racing for Scuderia Veloce, the day he beat Norm Beechey, why he didn’t pursue an F1 career – and obtain a signed copy of his book. There will be a Q&A session with morning tea provided by the HSRCA. Motoring journalist Peter Robinson will MC the event.
When: Tuesday 2nd March 10:00am for 10:30am start
Where: Sydney Motor Sport Park
Attendance: Due to COVID-19 regulations, registration is essential and numbers may be limited, so acceptance will be in chronological order.
Please contact Wes at firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP and secure your place.
