Registration and Timings
On-track sessions run from 6:30pm – 10:30pm.
Registration can be completed on line: there is a link in your entry receipt.
Please arrive no later than 6.00pm to ensure you have time to complete the registration process and listen to the driver’s briefing.
Registration is on level one above the pit lane garages.
Wrist bands will be issued to drivers to identify the group you are in.
Track, Entry and Exit
We will be using the Druitt North circuit. Drivers will assemble on the Dummy Grid and be released onto to the track by the Track Marshalls. Drivers will complete 5 full laps. After crossing the Finish line on the final lap, there will be a part ‘cool down’ lap and exit will be via the Pit Straight exit (only). The quicker all Drivers exit the track, the more track time for all.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be advised at least 7 days prior to the event date. The event entry can be transferred to another Driving Solutions event (only), not an HSRCA event.
Driver’s Apparel
All Drivers must wear suitable apparel. The minimum is covering to the neckline, wrists and ankles. Non flammable, cotton material is preferred.
Food & Beverages
The onsite café will be open, but you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Private catering is not allowed. No alcohol should be consumed for at least 12 hours prior to the course.
Weather
All Driving Solutions events go ahead whatever the weather conditions. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or postpone a course we will contact you as soon as possible.
Directions, Access, Garages & Carports
Enter Sydney Motorsport Park via Gate A on Ferrers Road. Once on Ferrers Road, Sydney Motorsport Park is on the left-hand side, with yellow and black signage.
Access to the skid pan areas only will be from 4.30 pm. Entrants can unload their cars on the skidpan.
Access to the garages and carports will be from 5.30pm.
Garages and carports are not allocated. Entrants can choose their own or stay on the skid pan.
Timing and Event Conduct
Whilst timing will be provided, we must approach this event as non-racing and to be enjoyed with respect to entrants with little or no track experience. Overtaking will only be allowed on the straights.
Spectators and Crew Members
Friends, spectators and crew members are welcome. There is no entry fee for these people.
Drivers Briefing
This will be conducted on the course PA system, before the event. Please listen carefully to this
Grids and Laps
Entrants will be assigned a Group or Grid for the evening. These will be cars of a similar type and group.
These groups will be announced before the event.
Each group will assemble on the Dummy Group and will be managed with the help of Dummy Grid Marshalls.
It is the intention to give each group 5 full laps. The runs will be repeated in a loop until the evening ends.
Fire Extinguishers
Hand held, in car Fire Extinguishers are not required.
