There’s only another week and a half between us and another fun weekend of historic motorsport with our mates, so we thought it time to have a reminisce about our previous visit to Wakefield Park and get into gear.
Our previous visit to the park was for our very first event of the year, the All Historic Summer at Wakfield Park. And it lived up to its name, as we got down to the business of racing a wondrous collection of historic sports and racing cars around a picturesque, green and summery Wakefield Park. It got a little soggy on Sunday afternoon, but that just made the racing a little more exciting.
And these cars delight in a little sideways fun anyway!
The feature group for the event was M & O and they put on a terrific show as they were kept very busy with a packed schedule of racing events; a lovely taster for this coming November’s 2012 Tasman Revival!
