Lunch With Sue Ransom on Tuesday 15 October

We will be honoured to welcome Sue Ransom to speak about her racing career at the Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club from 11:30 am on Tuesday 15 October for a 12:00pm presentation.
Sue earned an enviable career in motorsport during the 1970s and 1980s as a leading female driver in rallying, touring cars including the Bathurst 1000, drag racing (including a jet car!) and co-hosting “Torque” with Peter Wherrett. She was great friends with John Leffler and was instrumental in organising a well-attended and memorable tribute lunch for him in 2022.
Sue has enjoyed post-racing careers in journalism, public relations and technology security, and is taking time from her busy schedule to travel from Melbourne and share her story with us. So, we look forward to a big attendance at the Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club from 11:30 am on Tuesday 15 October, to be followed by lunch in the bistro in our reserved area, as usual.
There is no need to book, but we are hoping for a large audience, Sue is an entertaining speaker and one of the earliest ladies to race at a national level.
