Social Dinner with Special Guests Peter Opie and Tony Palmer Tuesday 18 June

Join us for a social dinner on Tuesday 18 June from 6:00pm at Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club with special guests Peter Opie and Tony Palmer from Black Rock Motor Resort near Lake Macquarie.
Peter and Tony are proposing to create an FIA Grade 2 circuit of 5.25km and wonderful facilities at a site near Lake Macquarie. They recently received considerable publicity in the media including the ABC on the launch of the site.
This is a quite different facility to One Raceway, so please come along to hear their ambitious plans, see renditions of the projected circuit and buildings,, and ask questions – plus to catch up with your HSRCA mates for drinks from 5:30pm and dinner afterwards in our reserved area of the bistro.
Our first lunchtime social function on 16 April was a full house with Michael Gasking recounting days building the Repco engines used by Brabham to win two Constructors’ Championships. Michael’s talk was followed by a very enjoyable late lunch for a lot of members.
