Last weekend was a big one for historic motorsport, as a stunning collection of historic sports and racing cars hit the track, pits and paddock at Winton for the VHRR’s 2011 Winton Festival of Speed.
Racing royalty like Porsche’s 962c and 935 ‘Moby Dick’, and the locally built Elfin MR8 B-C Formula 5000 that James Hunt used to win the 1978 Rose City 10000 were highlights of a massive weekend of historic racing.
Martin Creely was there with his camera and has been kind enough to share his work with us. Enjoy the shots, and head to his website here for his full collection of great motorsport photography from the 2011 Winton Festival of Speed.
Thanks to Martin Creely for the photographs.
