It is with disappointment that we announce the postponement of the social evening previously planned for Tuesday the 4th of August at Denistone Sports Club.
For a number of reasons, including ongoing concerns about the current COVID-19 situation, the committee has reluctantly decided to postpone our planned get-together. We are still keen to provide an opportunity for our members to meet, but feel that the responsible thing to do is to wait until the situation improves.
We will continue monitoring the situation and its potential impact on future events, and will alert you once we feel comfortable to proceed.
The August social meeting at Denistone Sports Club was to be our first in-person social meeting since the pandemic settled in Australia and would have featured Damien Duigan and Gavin Luxton from Shannons presenting a discussion about their work in auctioning and insuring classic cars. We look forward to welcoming both back soon.
