Friday Practice

Friday Practice will be available as usual and will be conducted by the ARDC and Sydney Motorsport Park. It commences with a compulsory driver’s briefing at 8:00am and the event will start at 8:30am.

Online entry is now closed, but participants will still be able to enter on the day.

Bump In

Bump in and set up will be on Thursday evening. The main paddock, garages and skid pan will be available from 4:00pm. Please unload your car and remove your trailer to the designated trailer parking areas.

Paddock Layout and Use

A Paddock layout map is provided. Please adhere to this map, particularly in taking up a position on the skid pan.

Also, please assist by parking your tender vehicle and trailer in the designated parking areas: not the paddock. HSRCA volunteers will be on hand on Thursday evening to assist with paddock management and directions.

Sign On Process and Passes

Please bring with you your pre-completed scrutineering and waiver forms (from the links above). You need to present these to the admin staff in the Hinxman Room, from Friday morning. Wrist bands for competitors and pit crew will also be issued.

At sign on your will receive: a program, a tender pass, admission tickets and a small memorial plaque. Please insert your race car number on the tender pass.

If you are not arriving at the circuit until Saturday morning, you will need to proceed promptly to sign on as above.

Drivers Briefing

This will be conducted ‘face to face’ in the Hinxman Room (like pre-COVID times) from 8:15am.

Garages and Carports

Entries for this event are strong. All garages and carports were taken fairly promptly and allocated on a ‘first in, first served basis’. Marquee spaces have been provided by the club as well.

Every possible effort is made to allocate spaces based on entrant requests, car categories and the like. With such strong entries, however, not every request can be met.

Fuel

RaceFuels will once again supply the Sydney Classic with fuel. Permanent bowsers located at Sydney Motorsport Park supply E-85 Race Blend at $2.20/litre, Elf Race 102 for $4.95/litre and 98RON fuel for $2.50/litre.

If you require Elf LMS or Elf Core 50 for the event, it is available for pre-order only through fuelorder@racefuels.com.au or by calling the office on (03) 9706 5233.

Instructions for using the bowers are as follows:

  1. Insert and remove any credit card
  2. Nominate how much you would like to spend
  3. Choose pump 1, 2, 3 or 4 corresponding to your desired fuel
  4. Fill up your car or jerry can
  5. If you require a receipt, insert and remove the same credit card

If you nominate more money than you spend on the day, you’ll only be charged for the fuel you take. The remaining funds will be returned to your credit card within three business days.
